Flixaddict – Most Famous Movie Dogs

There are so many list of top producers, top directors, top actresses, top actors and so on. How about the top movie dogs to hit the screen? Here is a list of the Most Famous Movie Dogs:

Beethoven
Did you know this giant man’s best friend’s real name was Chris? We think Beethoven is more fitting for this popular St. Bernard.

Marley
Sometimes it takes eighteen dogs to make up one movie star dog. Yep, the star of “Marley and Me” had extra help to play the role; eighteen extra help.

Lady and The Tramp
Who’s more famous here – Lady or The Tramp? We’re not sure. Walt Disney does a great job with adding romance to every movie and they didn’t stop with this one either even though the movie featured cute canines. Did you know that they almost cut the romantic spaghetti slurping scene because they thought it would be cheesy instead of full of romance?

Slink
Slink was pretty slinky as he is a toy slinky Dachshund; part toy, part dog.

Buddy
No going incognito here for our furry friend as his real name is Buddy. And oh where did we see him before? “Full House” under a character name Comet.

Toto
Famous oh so famous for being in the Wizard of Oz and forever popular for following that yellow brick road is Toto (played by Terry the terrier).

Jerry Lee
Rando is his real name and he was the canine in “K-9”.

Benji
Benji is a household name who has not been forgotten no matter how time passes. Originally played by Higgens, a dog found at the shelter, Higgen’s offspring then later played Benji for years. The second star to play Benji was Benjean. The names are close enough!

Lassie
Lassie was played by a dog named Pal originally. The movie stars family took over the role as descendants of Pal continued to do the acting of the super famous dog Lassie.

Flixaddict – Top Leading Ladies (Actresses) of Summer 2012

The Leading Ladies during this summer season are hot. They range from funny to fierce yet they are all fantastic. Here are some of the hottest actresses that are sure to keep you entertained:

Mila Kunis, “Ted”

This is the kind of girl guys dream about who is feminine yet loves the computer, gaming and motorbikes. How much more balanced can you get? It seems like she also keeps the balancing act on the red carpet too. At the premier of “Ted”, she shocked the world in a dress (designed by Christian Dior) with a plunging neckline yet the dress had a safety net – a black see-through panel – just in case something suddenly decided to make too much of an appearance. Once again, maybe the leading lady Mila knows the best of both worlds.

Scarlett, Johansson, “The Avengers”

She’s fit and fierce as the kick butt Black Widow in the killer hit “The Avengers”. To get prepared for her physically intense role and to rock out a catsuit, this sexy top actress stuck to intense workouts. Her roll required hand-to-hand combat, fights and lots of stunts. She’s got beauty, she got biceps and not she has a $20 million paycheck for the upcoming sequel.

Cameron Diaz, “What to Expect When You’re Expecting”
The girl-next-door who makes you laugh is at it again in this comedy. There’s always sparkle and model-glamour with Diaz. Seems like she’ll always be a world’s favorite pick when it comes to top actresses.

Stone will bring her beauty and sense of humor into everything she does. The confidence is irresistible. Whether she remains a redhead or a blonde, we all love this actress and look forward to her next appearances.

Kristen Stewart, “Snow White and the Huntsman”
Stewart proves that we love to see gorgeous ladies with kick-butt attitude and power. Beautiful doesn’t equate to timid and powerless as she reveals in this movie. Some say that this actress didn’t do too well in her role as Snow White and that she did a poor job in plaing a medieval action heroine. Perhaps, critics stated, that she does will in contemporary roles such as in Twilight or the lead for Aventureland but she’s too passive to play a Joan of Arc-ish character. However, she’s done a great enough job despite differing opinions and has made it on the list of Top Leading Ladies Summer 2012.
